How sad? Years pass and time adds deterioration to homes once teaming with life and laughter. This small cottage on a country road once house a small southern family. Employment being so scarce in the south they were forced to leave this happy house and move north to the big city. Now the roof, and walls are now weak and crumbling and tall weeds and vines now inhabit where children once played and ran.
About Fortunate Findings Shirley Dickerson
From the time I was a young girl, using a camera to capture images has made me feel that memories could be made to last into the depths of time. Back then, when I was in school, it was pictures of mostly friends and family, but as I grew older nature became more intriguing. A friend introduced me to Fine Art America recently, so since getting a digital camera and more pictures can be taken more easily, I have decided to try to share some images of things some others may othertwise not have a chance to see.
